What to Expect

I’m here to guide you through your exploration of clay. Whether it’s you’re first time trying the craft or a chance to expand your skills, I’ll do my best to make sure you leave each class having learnt something new.

Types of Workshops

  • Two hour beginner focused workshops for groups of four people on either the pottery wheel or handbuilding tables. A fun introduction to making with clay in its different disciplines.

  • In depth weekly courses taking you through the step-by-step making process.

  • Looking for something special? Contact me directly and we can arrange a special event for a one-to-one or small groups.

Where to Find the Studio

The studio is on a quiet suburban street in Kilkenny City. The studio is a separate building that is part of my home. We are a short 10 minute walk from the city centre and most popular Kilkenny hotels and sights.

There is free on-street parking outside of the house, please be mindful of my neighbours’s gates and front doors when parking.

  • Go to the ‘Contact Me’ form above and get in touch!

  • Please send me a message or call me. You will have been sent my contact details in an email when you booked your class.

    • Due to the small class size, the class may not go ahead if there are not enough participants

    • No refunds can be given if you cancel with less than 5 days notice.  Up to 7 days before, you can transfer your space to someone else if you wish or contact me as I may have a waiting list

    • If I need to cancel a class, due to not having enough participants, I will let you know as soon as possible.  If I am unable to attend a class due to illness or other emergency, I will notify you as soon as possible 

  • I cannot accommodate missed classes with new dates for every student. So unfortunately if you miss a class without warning me first, you will not receive a refund.
